1.   What are some of the advantages of custom imprinted lanyards?

Custom lanyards can be personalized with logos, phone numbers, website addresses or other messages.

Hot stamping, silk screening and dye sublimation are available on all our custom neck lanyards.

Dye sublimation followed by silk screening offers the highest quality lanyard printing.

4.   Can you detail the different imprinting methods?

Sure! We've detailed each of our printing methods for custom lanyards below. Be sure to contact us if you are not sure which is best for you.

Dye Sublimation
Premium Quality – durable and long lasting

• Perfect for intricate logos and detailed artwork
• Any Pantone (PMS) color ink available on 3/8" and 5/8" lanyards
• Standard two-sided printing
• Lead Time: 4-8 weeks after approval of artwork depending on machine 
  availability
• Minimum Production: 500 Pieces

Silk Screening
Superior Quality – quick turnaround time

• Any Pantone (PMS) color ink on 3/8" and 5/8" lanyards
• One or two-sided printing available
• Lead Time: 2-4 weeks after approval of artwork
• Minimum Production: 250 Pieces

Standard Lanyard Colors Available: White, Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green,  Teal, Navy, Royal Blue and Purple. Other colors are available, however minimum quantities & additional charges may apply.

Note: The appearance of the Pantone color inks may vary based on the actual color of the lanyard material.

Hot Stamping
Good quality – perfect choice for limited budgets

• Great for giveaways and promotions
• Limited color combinations
• One or two-sided printing available
• Lead Time: 1-2 weeks after approval of artwork
• Minimum Production: 100 Pieces

5.   Am I responsible for overruns on custom imprinted lanyards?

As is the case with most custom printing jobs, we reserve the right to ship  plus/minus 10% of the quantity ordered and bill appropriately. The option of an exact run is available for a one-time charge of $25.00.

6.   What type of artwork do I need to supply for custom imprinted lanyards?

Submitted artwork for all our custom lanyards must be camera-ready, black & white photo-quality artwork with fine edges. Modifications to your artwork, should they be required, will be quoted on a per-order basis.

The following computer files are also acceptable:

• Adobe Illustrator 8 – All fonts converted to outlines & saved as an .ai or .eps file
• Adobe Photoshop 5 – Files saved as .tif, .bmp, .jpg, .psd or .gif
• Pagemaker 6.5
• Quark Xpress 4.0

Please submit files in one of the following formats:

• Email
• IBM formatted 3.5" disk
• Iomega Zip Disk
• CD-Rom

Note: Please specify the name and type of file being sent. All files should have a resolution of 150 dpi or higher. Multiple color jobs should be created using spot color rather than process color mode. Please do not embed files in a Microsoft Word file. It is preferred that artwork be provided in the above formats.  However, if that is not an option, please send a black & white hard copy of your camera-ready artwork (laser printer quality) including written instructions and a list of fonts used. Also include a color copy for color breakdown only.

7.   What is the maximum print area and stroke thickness?

Minimum stroke thickness (thickness of lines used on letters/numbers): .055"
Suggested Fonts – Sans Serifs (i.e. Arial or Tahoma)

8.   Are set-up charges applicable?

Yes, a one-time set-up charge applies to all orders. Please call for details.

9.   What is your return policy on custom lanyards?

No returns on custom printed lanyards are accepted unless resulting from a manufacturing error, which must be authorized in writing. Product samples to verify your claim must be submitted within 30 days of receipt of your order. Receipt of samples will be acknowledged and a Return Authorization will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the sample. You will be advised how to return the shipment with our designated carrier. After a shipment is received and inspected, we will issue a credit for replacement merchandise.
