There are two different options for the Pebble printer / writer. The Pebble MAG sublimation printer that includes an encoder for printing on magnetic stripe cards, and the Pebble Smart printer that allows you to use The Pebble as a smart card writer.

The Pebble MAG Printer / Writer

Available now, the Pebble MAG, a colour / monochrome sublimation printer which includes an encoder for magnetic strip cards. This encoder allows you to personalize your ID cards to ISO standards or to customise them using tracks 1, 2 and 3, with either a low or high coercivity.

Not forgetting to mention that the encoder can be defined by the user to operate with either a low or a high coercivity, by a simple click via the Windows driver.

A market leader in printers of plastic ID cards: this magnetic encoder can be fitted to any standard Pebble printer by simply connecting it to the system, without having to send it back to the factory! This simple operation enables the user to update the printer at low cost and without needing to buy more expensive equipment.

The Pebble Smart Printer / Writer

Give an "intelligent" dimension to your cards by taking advantage of the new Pebble SMART Printer system.

The new Pebble SMART is based on the characteristics of the Pebble printer and integrates a Smart Card Contact Station which enables you to personalize the chip smart cards. The Pebble SMART is compatible with any ISO 7816-2 Chip Cards.

The push & contact system of the Smart Card Contact Station provides the contact with the card only when a personalization of the chip is required. This advantage ensures a better Contact Station durability and a higher card printing quality as it prevents scratches on the card surface.
